Os autores apresentam uma técnica para tratamento cirúrgico das fraturas instaveis do colo do úmero em duas e três partes. Este método consiste de uma banda de tensão intramedular e fixação extramedular em “8” , estabilizando os segmentos fraturados após redução com auxílio de um ou dois parafuso maleolar com arruelas e 2 fios de ethibond nº 5.
