Tratamento das formas moderadas e graves de epifisiólise do fêmur proximal com a luxação controlada do quadril
Resumo
Estudos recentes questionam a clássica técnica de fixação “in situ” das formas graves de epifisiólise do fêmur proximal, pois frequentemente está associada à perda de amplitude de movimento, altos índices de osteonecrose, falha do posicionamento dos implantes e condrólise. A recente ênfase no tratamento do impacto fêmoro acetabular e sua progressão para degeneração precoce da articulação também contribuem para essa mudança de paradigma. A proposta de tratamento com a luxação controlada da articulação proposta por Ganz e o reposicionamento da epífise vem apresentando resultados animadores, com o reestabelecimento dos parâmetros anatômicos e baixo índices de complicações.
