Artrodese dos quatro cantos no tratamento do colapso carpal

O colapso avançado escafo-semilunar (“SLAC”) é a mais freqüente forma de artrose do punho. O punho “SLAC” representa a seqüela tardia da dissociação escafo-semilunar ou da pseudoartrose antiga do escafóide. O tratamento desta patologia , descrita em 1984 por Watson e Ballet, permanece controverso. Neste artigo, reproduzimos a técnica da artrodese dos quatro cantos, como alternativa à artrodese total do punho nos casos de “SLAC” em estágio III.
