Bone biopsy is one of the most important steps in bone tumors aproach, diagnosis and treatment. The authors discuss about indications, thecnics, vantages and advantages of open and percutaneous biopsy (nedle biopsy); The main objective of biopsy is obtain enough material for the pathologist that can give us the more possible precisious diagnosis of the lesion.
