Abstract

Irreparable rotator cuff injury remains a challenge for orthopedic doctors. The best type of treatment is not yet established especially for patients who do not respond to conservative treatment, have active pain, good mobility (without pseudoparalysis), and who do not have advanced arthritis or arthropathy. Treatment options are selected from the simplest (conservative) to the most complex (arthroplasty). We present a case report of a 50-year-old female patient with irreparable rotator cuff injury who underwent a surgical treatment with interposition technique of fascia lata autograft.
