Tratamento da displasia fibrosa utilizando placa angulada
Keywords:
bone fibrous dysplasia, osteotomy, angled plateAbstract
This article presents the treatment of a patient with proximal femur fibrous dysplasia with proximal femoral osteotomy and fixation with 130° angled plate in a 19-year-old female patient. Fibrous dysplasia is a pseudo neoplasia, usually caused by a genetic mutation, with no predilection for age group. In children, it is more likely to cause deformities, especially with shepherd’s crook deformity, and is more frequent in the proximal femur. It also presents characteristics similar to aneurysmal bone cyst in both imaging and histopathological examinations. The aim of this paper is to describe the treatment of bone dysplasia with valgus osteotomy in the femur and fixation with 130 ° angled plate.
