In most cases, especially in the simple bone cysts located in the upper limbs, when there is symptomatic and risk of pathological fracture, we recommend infiltration of the cyst with corticoid. When the location is in the proximal femur, especially in the region of the femoral neck, we indicate the classic surgical treatment with curettage and grafting (autologous bone). We reported a special case where a pathological fracture occurred in a patient with a simple bone cyst of the femoral neck.
