The goal of limited wrist fusion is provide a pain free wrist, with satisfatory restauration of force in despite of some range motion loss. Capitolunate arthodesis combined with scaphoi excision has been advocated as a treatment for carpal arthosis resulting from scapholunate dissociation, saphoid nounion, or scaphoid avascular necrosis. ln this article we reproduce the capitolunate arthrodesis techinics as a treatment for this pathologies, as described by Kischerbaun in 1993.
