High plantar arch and equinus forefoot is seen in pes cavus and traumatic, neurologic or idiopatic causes can be associated with. There are several surgical techniques for cavus correction. Pre-op planning through clinical and besides x-ray study is essential to achieve neutral alignment and muscle balance. It was demonstrated good outcome from cavus foot related to myelomeningocele corrected by Cole technique (midfoot) and Samilson (calcaneus).
