The use of surgery navigation during total hip arthroplasty offers potential to reduce the incidence of relative complications to the positioning of the implantions. lnadequate positioning of the component to acetabular can take the precocious revision due to impact, osteolisys induced by wear or instability. The limb length discrepancy, frequently seen in the postoperative patient, is an important cause of dissatisfaction. The authors describe the main surgical steps in the use of this innovation in the accomplishment of the total hip artroplasty.
