Abstract

High energy fractures of the tibial plateau are followed by severe lesions of soft tissues, and a great part of them are open fractures. So then is necessary a method of treatment that is less aggressive to rhe tissues and that offer stability. This study aimed to demonstrate a less aggressive technique, easily reproducible and that allows early mobility and manipulation of the affected limb using the hybrid externa! fixator associated with minimally invasive osteosynthesis.
