Tratamento cirúrgico da escoliose idiopática com instrumentação de terceira geração e manobra de desrotação

There are many options of surgical techniques for the treatment of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. The authors will describe the technique for posterolateral arthrodesis and third generation instrumentation using the derotation maneuver that can be used in thoracic, lumbar and thoracolumbar curves. This technique allows for earlier mobilization of the patient and does not need a post operative orthosis.
