There are many procedures for the treatment of the acromioclavicular dislocations such as: acromioclavicular reduction and coracoid fixation with suture or rigid fixation, acromioclavicular fixation with Kirschner wires, tendinous transfer and ligaments transfer. The authors present the technique described by Weaver and Dunn which consists of a distal part of clavicle resection with coracoacromial ligament transfer, for surgical treatment of chronic acromioclavicular dislocations.
