Os autores descrevem uma forma de tratamento cirúrgico empregado em um caso raro de luxação traumática de joelho sem lesão neurológica ou vascular, com integridade do ligamento cruzado posterior (LCP), lesão da substância do ligamento cruzado anterior (LCA), lesão do canto póstero - medial e do ligamento colateral medial (LCM). Discutem a avaliação clinica, os exames complementares e a técnica cirúrgica realizada. Revisam a literatura sobre as condutas no atendimento inicial e as formas de tratamento, bem como suas indicações e complicações.
