Tratamento da displasia congênita do quadril por acetabuloplastia recessual

Os autores apresentam uma técnica de acetabuloplastia em prateleira que possibilita o aumento acetabular por uma cobertura de enxerto retirado da tábua externa da asa do ilíaco. O enxerto é fixado no ilíaco por encravilhamento a um recesso criado na borda acetabular e também é fixado à cápsula por meio de suturas. Após a fixação coloca-se enxerto esponjoso sobre o enxerto cortical e o paciente é mantido imobilizado até à incorporação dos mesmos. Este procedimento é uma modificação da cirurgia de Staheli e tem as mesmas indicações, promovendo cobertura e estabilidade para a cabeça femoral na displasia congênita do quadril tratada tardiamente ou na insuficiência acetabular pós-redução.
